Test Fixture Design and Fabrication

Our company designs and constructs test fixtures from client supplied specifications, but we also have the experience to custom develop test programs and test specifications from scratch.
 

Custom  test fixtures can be fabricated in-house with miga Research and Development, Inc.'s sheet metal and plastics fabrication shop.

We offer test fixture maintenance and upgrades for our fixtures, keeping  the most critical components in stock.

Printed Circuit Board Design

miga Research and Development, Inc. employs PADS© CAD Software for accurate Printed Circuit Board designs.

miga Research and Development, Inc. offers fabrication drawings to show PC Board material, dimensions, hole locations and hole sizes.  Likewise, assembly drawings are available to show component placement and special construction notes.  


Schematics, using industry standard symbols, are CAD generated by PADS© schematic capture software.
 

miga Research and Development, Inc. designs printed circuit boards in single sided, two layer and multi-layer, with surface mounted and or through-hole components.

Mechanical Design and Fabrication

miga Research and Development, Inc. offers experience with motorized drives, linkages,  and simple machines.

Sheet metals or plastics can be used in our facility's fabrication shop for a custom-built product or prototype.

From simple hand drawn sketches to CAD software, miga Research and Development, Inc. can help you with your documentation needs.  We employ common,  CAD software like TurboCAD©, BeckerCAD©, and QuickCAD© to be compatible with most of our clients' software.

miga Research and Development, Inc. can generate parts lists / bill of materials, using "Parts and Vendors" software or Microsoft Excel software.

Prototyping

Electronic circuits can be constructed on perf board, copper substrate or modified etched PC Board, using a rough schematic to work by and empirically evaluated before committing production to the electronic design or ECO requiring pc board artwork design or changes.

Modifying a current product or starting from scratch, our sheet metal and plastics fabrication shop can help bring an idea to a mechanical reality.  miga Research and Development, Inc. can mill, cut, drill  from most plastics, woods, soft metals and sheet metals.

Other prototyping services available include dip or spray  finishes, quality labeling, and some chemical treatments for metals, such as nickel plating and black aluminum anodizing.
